How to make money in Age of Conan? What is the best way to gain a lot of Age of Conan gold to play? Usually Conan players have a problem with it. I am thinking about offer them a money-making guide. The following passage are some ways that i collected from my own experience. To most poeple’s knowledge, the best way to make money in every MMO is doing quests. This is always the most rewarding and lucrative way. Often, players can gain a reward of cash and some experience after completed a quest. So i sugguest you doing every quest you can find in the game. Then you can get some Age of conan Gold. Different quests have different prizes- different amout of AOC gold. Second, the second way i recommend is killling monsters. By killing monsters, players can pick up the monsters drops, including materials, Age of Conan money, or weapons. Loot all the stuff that monsters drop. So a good place for you to go is the Fields of the Dead( especially the Haunted Forest) and Eiglophian mountains. Here you can get tons of copper. This is a good way to make some AOC Gold, but not the best way. Third, buy low and selling high. For Age of Conan, there isn’t a market for you to sell and buy things. But you can do these in the Auction House. Sometimes, auction may be the best and fasest way to buy and sell one item. Different players will come here for things they need. In this game, i want to remind you all of not overlooking the resouerces on you. All these resources are worth some Age of Conan Gold. Last but not least, you can craft and farm in the game. Bying doing these, you can also earn some AOC Money. For instance, you can get 100 granite with fully respawned area in just 20-25mins. 100 granite is equal to about 1-1.5 Age of conan gold. The third best-selling US PC title of 2008 now available in six languages, with Korea to come! (2009-02-24)
Durham, USA – February 23, 2009 – Funcom is proud to announce that Age of Conan has launched in Russia, and Poland. As the game gets ready for full service in two new languages, Funcom has seen a clear trend towards strengthened feedback from the current player community, which praises the many improvements to the game.
The Russian and Polish versions of Age of Conan mark the first time Funcom works directly with an external publisher who take care of all service aspects related to the running of a MMO. The partners 1C and CD Projekt are responsible for localization, customer service and community management, as well as sales and marketing.
“Eastern Europe is quickly becoming one of the most important markets for massive online games, and it will be a continued focus for Funcom to strengthen our presence there. Together with our partners we will therefore focus on making the game a success for many years to come,” says Morten Larssen, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Funcom. “Since we launched Age of Conan last year, the game has taken large strides. This means that all new customers get a fuller Conan experience and nothing pleases us more.”
Launching in May last year, ‘Age of Conan’ quickly became a smash hit in retail, shipping over 1,2 million copies around the world. In North America, the most prominent online gaming market in the west, Age of Conan became the third best-selling PC title of 2008, only beaten by ‘World of Warcraft’ and ‘Spore’. In the weeks after launch, Age of Conan simultaneously topped the charts in 17 countries, even in some all-format lists. This showed the enormous marked demand for brutal, barbaric MMO fun. This was further highlighted by the 15 million unique visitors to the Age of Conan website during 2008.
After having lower customer retention than anticipated in 2008, Funcom is now seeing a distinct turn of events when it comes to Age of Conan. Not only has the company seen a significant improvement in subscription retention, the trend is also that the players spends more time in-game. As a result Funcom continues to invest heavily in the game, and currently more than 120 people are working on adding new content.
Funcom sees that the challenges from 2008 are now turning into positive opportunities going forward, and the many content updates since launch have resulted in a better gaming experience. This is evident not only from the feedback in Eastern Europe, but also through the current word of mouth among the many active players of the game.
With launch in new markets, an upcoming expansion pack, consistent content updates and numerous marketing initiatives Funcom is excited about the outlook for Age of Conan.
Funcom Character Transfers Now Available (2009-01-23)
As announced before the server merges, we are offering a free one-use character transfer option for all characters. If you wish to join a different community after the merge than the one you were allocated you are free to do so. This transfer is free of charge and can be used once per character. The service is available from your billing pages (https://register.ageofconan.com) and it will be running for one month until 21st of February.
Some additional information about the character transfer that might be important to know:
* Every character is eligible for one free transfer.
* The time it takes to get the transfer completed will depend on the load. The standard transfer will take 30 minutes. If the load is very, very heavy it might take up to 72 hours for the transfer to complete so please be patient.
==> Please also note that you must not login to any character of the same account as long as a transfer is still running. You are able to check the status of a running transfer on the account website too (https://register.ageofconan.com). The character transfer would get aborted should you login with any character during that time and you would have to start it again.
* If one, or more, servers become too popular we reserve the right to stop transfers to the servers in question at any time.
* Transfers to or from the "fresh start" servers Ironspine and Agony are not allowed.
* Transfers to all other servers will be available for all characters, regardless of rule set and language. Please be aware though that the allowed chat language is defined for each server. So no other language allowed in the public chat channels than the defined server language (for example English on Fury or German on Mitra etc.).
* Your mail is not transferred to the new server, be sure to empty before going out.
